Introduction
Surname “Van Paassen” is well-known in the heart of the Dutch horticultural glasshouse industry. Raised in glasshouse city ‘Het Westland’, as son of a self-employed vegetable grower, I developed a passion for the kingdom of cultivated plants from young age.
After obtaining my BSc and MSc in Plant Sciences I worked for several renowned companies in the Dutch horticultural chain, with a focus on classical plant breeding, plant propagation (seed / PTC) and crop cultivation. Always interested to dig into a new complex project.
After a career in Holland I want to put my know-how to work in international perspective.
For both commercial organizations and the non-profit sector (development aid).
